Tough One smiling face Let me try

Say Any Gene has n number of Allele. Sum all these up and when you calculate how much porportion of it is made up by any one allele say X (i.e allele x/sum of alleles) is GENE Frequency.

Now every one PERSON will have 2 allele (any one ,may even be same). Now make all the possible COMBINATIONS of these allele (i.e. sets of 2). These are the possible genotypes. When you calculate porpotion made up of any 1 given set out of whole combinations is called GENOTYPE Frequency ( i.e. allele x - allele y / all sets of allele possible)

Finally Hardy weinburg simply said that the frequency of a given set of alleles could simply be calculated by the individual frequency of the alleles making THAT set.

Atleast I Tried .
