Hi, I am graduating medical school in Brazil and i will try to apply for USMLE 1 and 2 next year. I would like to know any kind of information about the tests, about preparatory courses that i should do,...if there is any brazilian IMG that want to share this with me, or any other student that could give me useful information i would be glad. Buy first aid it' s going to help you a lot!!!
for anatomy, neuro anatomy, histo., embrio subjects use High Yeld.
Microbiology and imunology, levinson.
Behvioral science- BRS
I studied for pathology from BRS, but i saw some people that studied from Goljan.
Phisiology BRS
Pharmacology and Bioch. I studied from Lipconts ilustrated series. I liked very much but some people prefere others.
Resolve Q bank questions from Kaplan, write notes from your books and questions on your first aid and you will be fine. Kaplan has good material, I just didn't have the money.

I'm from Brazil too and I'm looking forward to talk to someone about USMLE... I'm planning to take it... I've seen that another member of this forum from Argentina had a problem getting that statement of need for the J1 visa, so I'd like to know if anyone has any experience about that in Brazil! I'm from Brazil, too. I'm currently studying for the step 2 ck. I'm planning to take the test until dec./jan.
I'm now living in the US.
