Hello Everybody!!! Well My questions are Do you know anything about doing the residency and working in California? I heard that they do their own review of the IMG and do not follow the ECFMG. Also that in order to obtain a license in that state, as part of the requirements you have to turn in a letter from every hospital that you have done a rotation. Well is this true? Does anyone anything about this? Best wishes to al!!! Enrique

Apply for the paperwork early and expect delays in Ca. They require fingerprinting, your ORIGINAL diploma to be sent to them, and paperwork directly from your medical school documenting hours of training, etc. It is SLOW, costs $600+, and somewhat annoying if you have already done all the ECFMG stuff.
