I have seen some posts of people who say it´s very close to your real score. Do you think that´s true??? has someone of you done it?. Any reply is welcome. I think you should take nbme, i think it helps you see where you stand. I am going to take it tomorrow, but for step 1. i am kinda scared I wish the best to all Mexicans in this super forum!!!!! Chema i read you are going to take the nbme ...good luck!!! i didnt take it but everybody agrees it is the closest to the real thing so it's a good idea to take it although i know you are ready it will build your confidence and you will kick some %$#!!!. My kaplan course ended today and i am so happy i took it!!! oh boy. I highly recommend it and will write more about it later. Now i am feeling a little homesick I miss my hubby, my mommy and everything... oh well, i hope i will be done with this pretty soon. ENDURANCE , ENDURANCE , ENDURANCE.... Sometimes I wish to do my test before the date is programmed but later i don´t, I know it´s like the last sprint, after this, the other(s) steps are easier. I am pleased there is a mention of our beloved countries independence day, it makes me proud. Next week is my first ¨examen departamental¨ of pathology and I am a little anxious. (Imagine when I have to take STEP 1!!!) Pathophysiology is great, and the book Pathophysiology for the Boards and Wards has helped me a lot. Also the BRS pathology and physiology are very helpful. I am using Robbins and Harrisons (in english) in addition to these texts and I have really learned many things. I am also taking genetics which brings me to a question of how much genetics is tested in STEP 1. Chema, drgaxmax and Lorena I am sure you will do fine in your evalutations, dont worry. Someday when we start our residence we will look back on these days and cherish them, as the forging of our medical career in the US. Keep it up...
