I do have to pass the CS and Ck before June-Julya of this year, right? I really wnat to try to get into a program next year. Can anyone can tell me what are the datelines?

Thank you so much guys!! I'm really happy!! On to finally finish my step 3 with ease now! I have also already received tons of paperwork to fill out!! wow! But I'm also very excited! I was very blessed to have you guys during the toughest times through this wild journey!! and I'm happy that you guys had an inside look through the whole thing so that you can see that everything is possible and you guys are next!!! Thanks to the gurus Noxar, Chemamr and Lorena for sticking around for all of us... I will try my best to stick around also! CUrrently im finishing up my 6th semester at Montemorelos University Medical school (40min south of MTY).. and Would like to take the step 1 in ´08. ZAA,
You have to renew you PTAL every year until you find a Residency then you have to fill a form they send you. It is not big del anymore since the whole process it is already done
Remember guys that sacrifice and big efforts pay off at the end. I am going to start my Family Medicine Residency in a ACGME accredited program and let me tell you It was not esay at all. I am pretty sure you all know my story. I just wanted to let you know that there is always another way when someone has no great CV or attempts,low scores old graduate etc . Of course if you are willing to pay the price but it is up to us to fight for what we really want in this life and keep praying.

Damian what I need to do to get the PTAL I graduated from Guadalajara in 2003. I passed step 1 and 2 and waiting for CSA results. Please tell me what I have to do, also inform me about the program in puerto rico because I am in the same situation as you were. Thank you

ZAA, No no you don't have to pay every year just send the forms to renew it that is all you have to do.

Puerto rico is an option for you but please if you have decent scores and some US clinical experience you won't have to go all the way there.

Fill in the forms correctly and accurate you need a social security
when the time comes and you are ready let me know (send me a PM) I am still in Arizona in june I will be there in Puerto Rico. Don't get me wrong but it is very tough to get a licence in Puerto Rico ut s doable took me 6 months and lots of cash.

Thank you Damian. I am waiting for my CSA results, my scores are not great and I had attempts. Well I am working in a private dermatology practice and I did publish one research study in basic science. But my scores are killing me. I started reading for step 3 and won't take until I get good scores in the simulated exams. I will keep you posted.

Im am Finishing up my third year of medical School. And want to take Step 1. I have talked to several people about it and just wanted to know what you guys think. Should I take STEP 1 ASAP.. or should I wait for my Internship/ Servicio Social Years to Study for them and take them.
