Floresmd......I've read some comments and posts (a lot!) about the Home Study program, but 80% says the classic lecture notes are better....I don't know why....probably they didn't pass S1 with the home study.....or a friend of them.
Good luck. When do you plan to take Step 1?

If you want, buy the kaplan original notes, if you know someone who sell used notes, go for them......!!......

Men, this is a POPULAR topic!! I'm from Spain, not from Mexico, but I do LOVE Mexico - I backpacked my way through Veracruz, Catemaco, Palenque, San Cristobal del las Casas, Oaxaca, Zipolite (closest thing to paradise), Puerto Escondido and DF. Also went to Cancun once. Beautiful country, beautiful people.
I'm a graduate from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and I'm applying this year to pediatrics (got the interviews in January).
Well, I do hope to meet some of you guys in the States once we've all matched and become stressed but happy residents! I will surely love to express my joys and frustraions in my own language if any of us match at the same place!!

I know it's been a long time and that I love to dissapear a lot ! LOL sorry about that .
I' ve seen that the forum it's getting bigger each time I log in ! wow ! that's great... As for me, I can tell you that I'm sticking to the kaplan lectures notes, after the class I realized that's the stuff to know it cold and rock the step !
Since I had a little family issues, I have to extend my period...which I did on the IWA from the ECFMG site a few hours ago.. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THE ECFMG SITE TAKES TO REPLY MY PERIOD EXTENSION? Because I had my exam schedule on prometrics on DEC 22 that's 13 days from now.. I don't want to pay any fee !!! I belive they charge if you re-schedule prior 5 days of the original schedule date right ???
OMG I hate when this happens Now I'm really nervous about everything !
Anyway... congratulations to all of you who rock that step !!! and good luck to those who are gonna take it or that are on the interviews already.. Happy holidays guys!
