Well now you know why here in the states medicine is very good
Now in the surgical program that I am in let me tell you most of all surgerys are laparoscopic 90 %
very few are done in the " traditional " way

That 's good news man !
That 's the main reason that I never wanted to take this exam , it 's so unfair ..............
Anyway , a couple of my friends already bought it , since now it 's cancelled I don ' t think they gonna give them the money bad

Sayu, I like laparoscopy..., a surgeon that I work with does a lot of it..., he went to Hospital D´Clinic to do advanced laparoscopic surgery, he does sleeve gastrectomies and so on in those poor huge guys (morbid obesity)..., last week we operated a 245K guy

Hey guys, I plan to take my exam on January or February. I hope i can get ready by then. Time is ticking.
Karime: go to www.download.com and seach for .mp3 converter. If you have any problems let me know. For some of the programs you need a serial but its rather easy to get.
I heard the ENARM was going to be postponed but i never guessed the reason!!! Does anybody have a link to the news story or something? Please let me know. Thanks!

Hey guys!! This is so exciting have you seen the news from Secretaria se Salud?? apparently they are finilly going to change the exam to the digital format!!! oohhooo finally the XXI century is going to dawn on this guys!! The exam will be posponed in 2 months, I don't think they will do the digital format for this year but I bet they will do it for the next. This is almost unbelievable when I first received the news from Gomez I could not believe it I thought you were joking with me!! Oh well guys I'll leave you with this interesting read!!! check it out..... I can see the medusin already posted the nicest news...This is also a must, do read it!!!

Pues me alegra esta noticia!!!
I took the exam for IM and passed with a score above 50% but I was not even close to the cut off points. I remember many paid for the exam that year. 50,000. Also some that I never thought they would get into got it but later I heard they paid 60,000 for the test. Thye were in orthopedics!!!! They use to party and drink often.
Well it give more time to review for those taking it. TV Azteca did a whole report two years ago on the fraud. They had the video and all inside the hotel and one reporter went undercover and got the test along with other doctors. TV Azteca showed the video to Secretaria de Salud and they denied any corruption or anyone selling the test. They denied that the video was true.

Well there is justice after all in life.....
No I have not heard nothing from chema or Lorena for sometime now
I am in a surgical program learning alot of the "new" stuff since every surgery is now laparoscopic except delivery of babies !!!
Programa de Instrumentista Endoscopico quirurgico.
But it is way more than you think sure you have to know the "traditional " instruments adn procedures
but now with the endoscopes and computers and cameras, lasers, microscopes,electrocautery
so for me anatomy is very good since you see it in detail.
So I am finally doing very well in the profession and when I save enough money I will take the ECMFG's again
or if I make good money in my new profession I just stay doing this
I have almost a year to go through but I am on the path and the instructors are cool too

Hello guys!
Wow that was amazing, but I still don't believe it....I mean, you cannot cut all the roots in a single hit, but at least this is the beggining!!!
Ja ja ja, ooops, an attending doctor in my social service bougth half-exam, but I wonder how is he feeling rigth now
GLO, I'm on Beh-Sci, I'm almost in the middle 
I don't feel like I'm doing any progress!!!  
BUt let's see how it goes......probably I need to become familiar with text and everything.
I'm doing a first read of one chapter or 2, depends how long they are, or complex, and then I see the DVD then read it again and go to First Aid, and I do Qs at the end.
I got 52% correct in statistics and epidemiology (not Qbank, only the last Qs at the end of the chapter)......I'll focus on them at the end of Beh-Sci......I must!! ......What you think?

learning New stuff and What I am doing is just the basic things
every year there are more things newer

Yolanda: I didn't know about this program. Now I see when it is going to be held. I would love to go and take you with me since it sounds extremely interesting but unfortunelly I didn't know about it and I already have an event I have to help with at church tomorrow (I am a 7th day adventist) so I can't get off from it. I agree with it 2 days ago when I knew that the ENARM was cancelled. I am very sorry that I can not help you today. Non of my friends have told me that they would go since everybody had their weekend "occupied" by the ENARM and they are all in shock as you may imagine a lot of my friends are not even in town because they were attending lectures for the ENARM at MTY and DF. I am one of the few that stayed in Tijuana.
Anyways I am soon going to start going everyday on the weekdays and if you need to go I can surely take you with me and if you need anything from the bookstores or the library please let me know "colega de la UABC" it would be a pleasure for me to help you!! Also let me know if you need anything from the UABC I have my contacts and the UABC is just 5 minutes from home. Take care and it is a pleasure to find out that you are from the UABC. I would love it if I could practice CS with you, jeje, but I am still preparing for STEP 1, it has been tough working full time, having 2 jobs and studying, so I am planning to take step 1 in November this year, so I would take CS next year.
