Yes, you have to mention your social service on your CV, also all of those courses such as ACLS, ATLS. But if you are talking about what you will put for the next match, you will fill an online Common Application Form (CAF) and Curriculum Vitae, so, they direct/guide you.

Do you know if when you register for step 3 do they verify your credentials? In that case can they verify through ECFMG International Credential Service? Or is it a different service? Thanks guys

Hello !! Well, I just got back from Guadalajara and I saw my result. I did not pass the exam. But, honestly I do not feel toooooooo bad. I feel with more courage for passing the test next time. I got 70/180. I think ,I can do better next time. (I hope so). So, today I made my schedule again and I started over again. I think I will be taking the test by the middle of August. I just feel soooooooooo bad for my family .They realy want me to pass the test. Everybody was praying for me . I think I have to study harder and be calm. I was very, very nervous during the test. I was crying a lot the day before saying that "I can not do this". So, now next time I will be more relax. Well, I think my plans are going to change now. And I do not think I will be in the MATCH'08. Now , I am in rush time. I just do not want to wait another year. But ,I think sometimes things does not happen like we would like that this happen. So, I am just going to be in focus with the test and I do not want to think about the time now. Thank you for everything.

Medusin: when you get the orange paper (well now I think you get a letter by email) after u apply and pay the test, you then have to enter the prometric webpage and schedulle it the date u want. Yes u can do it with a lot of anticipation

Well, Medusin. You have to schedule your test first in the ECFMG web site . This is in a period of 3 months. (ex. FEB - MARCH - APRIL) After this you get your schedule permit. Then you have to go online for prometric center and check the days that are available for you... So , until this time you will be able to check calendar and days. So ,sometimes you can schedul the test during the day that you really want it. But , sometimes not. Depends in the people that sing up in prometric for the test.

sorry to heard bad news karla. you should not feel sorry for your family because it your life not theirs so that just my oppinion anyway...... i remember i cried a week before the test because it was really hard to me to take the test while studying for the school, etc..... but after that i stayed very calm, the day of the test happened a lot of bad things to me, some were my faul (i only arrived 5-8 minutes before my scheduled our) other no (the proctor played music so loud) but you know i was pretty calm...... well after saying that what i mean to say is that one should not worry, dont relax, but flunking the test is not the end of the world you should not let the step 1 be the center of your life. good luck, prepare well and if you need something just ask people around here is very cool.

Egomez i decided not to take it on may... but when I applied they just asked me to print a paper, and send it with my picture... and I believe I had to notarize it... and then just send it. I got my permit like 3 days after that.

you'll pass it next time Karla. this was useful as an experience, now you know what to expect and you can learn from your mistakes in your preparation as well as during the exam. The best thing is your positive attitude, that's good.
