hi guys, just recently passed step 2 with a good score(98)however, i seem to have no energy left for step2 now. i am bored doing online questions and have been scoring awfully. cant seem to concentrate. is there any remedy for this. i seem to have lost my motivation since i found out i couldnt probably get radiology even if i got 99. so my point is why go through all this trouble if what i'll get is IM? i could probably get IM with scores below 90, right?

i totally agree with you, cause i am bored out of my skin, and yeah, why strain to get in the 90 if it doesnt make much of a diff.

study for ur self...for the knowledge...and check some places like St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in MI, Radiology residency has a bunch of IMG's... Keep up the spirits!!! Anything is possible! Though I don't see why would some one want to spend life time in the dark room and radiated regularly??? :-)

usmleed if you got 98 in step 1, what´s the trouble? you are preparing step 2 now and you´ll be able to apply to any program you want to. Go on !. You have a great score there. Good luck !

thanks for the input. i was feeling low coz i got an all time low score of 46 on uw. i wasnt scoring very well to begin with and that 46 completely crushed me. even kaplan qbank scores have been hovering in the early 60s. for step 1 i was mostly getting above 70. even the people who have posted their scores seem to have all gotten 75-85 on kaplan, the ones who scored really well on their exams. i was wondering if i might be one of those who get 98 on step 1 and 76 on step 2. oh well guess i'm just being negative. still have more than a month to go. things might start looking up.
