Dear BBB,
I have recieved my final evaluation (for graduation), and I have graduated with a final score of 65% (ranked 60 in a field of 125 shaking head ). I had a terrible stumble in my last 3 years that destroyed my score (personal reasons).. Can 90+ USMLE scores be enough to "distract the interviewers attention"? Or they (especially the university programs) DO REALLY CARE about my medical school evaluation?
My dream is Internal medicine in a university program, stop dreaming? sad

Please if anybody else have similar experiences (low medical school evaluation), I'll be more than thankful to hear from you.

(I studied medicine in an Iraqi medical school).

Thanks a lot..

The transcripts are pretty confusing for US program directors - there are so many school and so many different transcripts. My PD pretty much goes with the USMLE scores for the first source of information.

With score of 90+, you should be able to stop sweating and smiling face

Good luck
