hello everyone... i'm scheduled to take cs in august 22 in philadelphia. I live in virginia and have never been to philadelphia. Anyone know of any good, reasonably priced hotels near the center? the closer the better.
Also, is there any need of reserving your room in advance? I'm planning to reach phily the day before my exam. If you do need to reserve rooms in advance, how early should i do it? is there any extra cost for that? Thanks.

i m doing my CS on 18th aug. from the info i gathered sheraton university city hotel is good and quite close to the test center. they also give a 33% discount to CS candidates. u can find the phone nos on usmle website. hope this helps.......

try out www.onlinehotels.com......Divine Tracy($62/day),North American Motor Inns($78) and Sheraton are the ones Im considering.

thanks guys for your help. I recently reserved a room in Wyndham at Franklin Plaza. It costs $126 per night (including tax). Apparently, it's a five minute drive from the test center. I know Sheraton is the closest... maybe a 5 minute walk or so , but i think it's going to be more expensive...right?
