Thank you for answering all my questions clearly. I wonder that if I participate in the couple matching and I or my girl friend get prematch in some programs. Will it have any problem to the other one? If I participate in normal matching and I get prematch position, what should I do ? Do I have to cancel the NRMP application or do nothing? Thank you very much again ThaiUSMLE

Yes, you have a cancel NRMP. And yes, if you accept a pre match it will affect the outcome of where your girlfriend will want to go.

Thank you very much BBB "it will affect the outcome of where your girlfriend will want to go." Hmm... It mean that she can not choose where to go?? or It will effect in other ways. Please give me the example or more explanation, please I know that she will top rank the program that near my program or the same program as me. Is that right? If both of us are considerably good candidates for the program(both of us will choose IM), what PD will usually think about the couple that apply for the same program? Thank you again ThaiUSMLE

If you prematch in California will she want to go through the match and end up in New York?
