what I know is that you can take 2 CS anytime (since this year, i think). In fact, that´s the reason because this year is going to be very saturated in the centers, more people doing the 2CS than in previous years. Hope this helps in someway.

hi dr79, you can take any of the steps in any order. However, it's better to take Step1 first before taking the Step2CK since there are some questions from Step1 that appear in Step2CK... with regards to CS, I believe, it would be better to take it after your Step2CK (Maybe around a month after your Step2CK so that you would still have a good knowledge on your clinical diagnosis and differentials for the CS. Hope this helps

dr79, my recommendation about your last question is: first step 1, then 2CK, and later 2CS. I think this is the best way. . Because if you have studied and passed step 1, you can answer some or many questions in 2CK with that knowledge you know, but it doesn´t work in the opposite (2CK and later 1), so maybe you´ll get a higher score in this way I recommend you. Instead, your fresh (as you say) knowledge right now is also useful for step 1, and you´re gonna be studying often to prepare your steps so you won´t forget it (don´t worry about it). Hope this helps dr79

Hi Dr79, I agree with chemamr... take Step1 first, what you studied for Step2CK for the past months will also be of use for your Step 1 coz there will be clinical cases too so it's ok. Then do Step2CK and put CS close to your CK... Just do ur best, follow Kaplan notes and practice on questions and relax... Step 1 is actually the hardest of the three (although some may disagree with me...) coz it deals with what you know from basic science... (Memorization...) then after the hardest... CK and CS will be a lot easier for you... take care and GOD BLESS
