Check out IMGexperts.com. It is the oldest IMG service that has been providing IMG residency program minimum requirements including minimum USMLE scores, US clinical experience, H1/J1, and years from graduation. You can even find out how many IMGs in each residency program. Good luck!

i sent emails to all the internal medicine program in a few states, including new york, new jersey, florida, michigan and connecticut, california. california turns out to be the most IMG unfriendly state. majority does not sponsor visa at all. only a few sponsor j1 only. also, you need to get extra money for the california letter for all the california programs, feel really no point to throw money in this state.

catmd, thanks for the link..., I notice that most of the programs on the link have a cut-off of 75 when in reallity this is not the case..., make sure to check the program directly..., Don´t get me wrong it´s a useful link and most of the programs accept IMG, but in regards to the cut-off I think they fall short...

Hi ergomez, thanks for the comments. I totally agree with you. Last year, I just got the list of the IMG friendly progs from that website, not their requirements.

you can also check the program website. you may find the current residents' background in some programs. if they have no IMG in the program, --- you know
