Hi, I graduated in 1999 and passed step 2 ck with a very very low score in 2002 sad
my score was 77, I gave cs in houston in june 2005 , waiting for my result and I am scheduled for step 1 in sep-nov 2005.
My question is should I apply for this year's match (by september 2005)? They will not get my result for step 1 till november. I never worked in US, I will start working in October in a hospital(observatorship) and can submit my LOR only then( by nov). It's a question about money, but then again should I take a chance?

Will someone give me some advice plz?

well papri, i´ll tell you what I know: for IMGs is very important to have all your papers ready for August approx. and of course to have good scores to be able to get a residency position. Study hard for your step 1 !!!! nod

Which residency do you want to do ???

Hope this helps in someway smiling face

I think you still have a good chance, eventhough the program you are applying for also counts alot!!!!

CHEMAMR and FAJA thanks a lot , yeah I'll have to try my best for good scores in step 1 and I will apply for internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, psychiatry etc. nothing like surgery or radiology, I know I won't get thoseshaking head But I think I'll take a chance then, May be it will be a bad investment , but who knows.......
Thanks once again.
