please guys i need some quick replies can CS be done in 15 days right after taking CK ?

I am sure it can be done unless you have never held a stethoscope in your hands in your entire life and have never taken one single history of present illness;0) My own experiense is biased because I took Kaplan CS course. But I was a witness to a study group of six people( all IMG, all from different countries). They had 10-14 days to prepare and they all passed. They used usmleworld cases, discussed them and practiced and practiced. Get yourself someone to study with, a reading material ( usmleword site material or Kaplan book, I am sure there will be other book suggestions), a clip board , a cheap timer and a stethoscope. When I was studying for the exam I also got a hammer , a tuning fork ( it was just a few bucks), a pen with black ink and a piece of fabric for a sheet imitation just to complete the perfect simulation. Oh, I forgot toothpicks for sharp/dull and Q-tips. Sounds kind of silly but the more you play with everything you are going to see on the real exam the less anxiety you will have, the more concentrated on the important things you will be.I also printed out the bunch of blanks of the patient notes from the USMLE website to practice so I could adjust my handwriting to the format and could write "automatically". To find the partner to study is quite important because communication skills are the key. They are rated by the patient and if one failed this part-- one failed the exam. But if you can not find anybody it is not the end of the world either. Set up timer for 15 minutes and practice with a pillow on the bed, talk to yourself in the mirror. Speak only English during these two weeks. A good start would be to read what is CS about on the USMLE site and to watch their video. Once you register they will also send you CD. It is amasing how sometime people study for the exam and even did not read the official site what it's all about. They say it is very basic exam. I agree but define basics. Everybody will make it with a preparation ( about 80-85% of IMG) but there are other 15% somewhere. Those people are not dumb. They just did not take this exam seriously or were not prepared enough and I met some of them. Hope it helps.
