if metastases occured, prognosis is poor(3 years). Rx as of OHCM,

methysergide 2mg/8h PO to block 5-HT

cyproheptadine 4mg/8h PO to help diarrhoea

phenoxybenzamine 20-200mg/24h PO to help flushing

others-enucleating liver metastases, hepatic artery ligation, embolization, 5-fluouracil injection.

Often the Tx for this Sx is surgically, medically and radiologically:

Surgical debulking for hepatic mets; if itīs too disseminated: radiofrequency ablation or hepatic artery embolization

Drugs: octreotide, methysergide, 5-FU

nod
