1. Most states you will need a license to practice medicine. You can't get that without at least a one to two year residency. 2. Where are you in your internship? US or overseas. That will make a difference. As to which program - that's your call. I can't give you advice on that.

I am doing PGY1 in u.s (it is preliminary). Do you think this one year will give me this apportunity to practice as a general practitioner? and will this internship make my resume strunger for next year? which residencys prefer PGY1IN surgery? and which
