hi group hi 123mle it is good to hear from u i think every body is beasy with studing it goooooood iam trying to memorise ped kaplan word by word and doing Q that i have like nms kaplan applton thismounth is 4 revising IM OBG PED AND DOING Qand reading psychiatric i hope what r u doing intern doc is every thing alright stay in touch good studing 4 every body

hey,
i would like to join your group, am giving my exam in august as well.
Ive gone through teh notes once and done half of q book and am going to buy usmle world now, and keep doing q book and bank alongside.Am doing surgery these days the K notes are really easy and quick to revise as opposed to the other subjects.I was wondering how many blocks everyone gets done per day and hoe one should pace oneself in usmle world.

I usually do 3 block of 46/day in usmleworld. It take forever to read the explaination.

Hi Intern_doc, i study kaplan videos together with kaplan notes. But I get sleepy after watching only an hour of 2 of video . I rather watch batman movies than the lecture videos. But I think the notes alone is not enough to memorise facts.

hi eveyone
how is it going? oh this never ending study, i am sick of it. there is always something new to be learned. though i have only been studying for two months, and even that with work, it gets really boring and very tiring. i wonder if how i could possibly sit for 9 hours of exam.
how is everyone else doing? well keep in touch guys, its nice to know you are not alone in this struggle. if anyone has anything for discussion, please post it so that it will stimulate those of us who are getting tired

HI guys, would anyone know where to get the kaplan dvd, i watched the video lectures but medicine was 2 months ago and totally don't remember it. Would appreciate it if anyone could help me out. I would also like to join in on any discussions..think we should go over questions like "next best step" and "best initial step" for major diseases

hello everyone, how are you doing?
Sorry dont know about the DVD nisha, but its a great idea to go over the major diseases as you said, i am up for it. So anyone else? how should we do it, should we use the chat rooms or here? any suggestion on how we should do it guys? we can arrange a certain time everyday, if its possible. i think if we do this everyday in our break time, we will finish all the major diseases, so please guys, lets start revision together.  , hope to hear from you soon everyone.

I just finished OB/GYN and psy. If anyone would like to chat over yahoo chat room. Give me a shout. Probably the best time for me is night time said around 10 PM central or later is fine, b/c I am not a morning person. I also did part of peds, but kaplan DVD is boring as hell. The dude just freaking read exactly like in the text and not lecturing zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Ok, study hard people.

I got it from a dude at the bookstore I study at (paid him of course), but you can get it on ebay now for 95 dollars. I dont know how far in your prep, but if you are half way or more than half way then october will be enough.
