does anyone out there only study exclusively step 2 cs books w/o enrolling in any live courses i.e kaplan 5-day step 2 cs?? if so, what books u guys recommend the most? by the way, what about the usmleworld site that offers different duration of subscription?

claudia,

thank u for ur kind replies.. just wondering if physical exams r really vital in cs? heard from numerous sources that you have very limited time to perform PE and u r not graded significantly based on PE techniques or manuevers, is that true?

how long did u prepare for step 2 cs?? and what is your schedule like?

i plan to take step2 cs prior to step 2 ck, is that a good approach??

i too think so. i agree with ur opinion. i think history taking is more important than other aspects of csa.

Transcriptio,

I think PE is important, in terms of performing the maneuver correctly. I also plan to take step 2 CS before step 2 CK so let's hope it'll work. I agree, history taking seems to be the most important part of CS exam.
