hi,
i just want to ask about an IM program which i may get a prematch..it is the United Health Hospitals IM program in Johson city,NY..do you know anything about it?it is a community-university affiliated program.. is it a good program?
by the way,i am an old graduate(97),did a residency in my home country (2003,emergency med) and my scores 82 and 99..have 3-4 weeks of observership in usa a couple years ago..
so what do you say? may i have a chance in any university program(im,ped or ob&gyn)?..acctually i haven't decided about speciality yet..and if i do im i definitely should do a fellowship, so for this reason i wanna get into a good im program..

hi yildiz ,
iam also lookin for prematch in ny IM ,did u finish step 3, whats ur visa status , dont mind me askin , because i have similar scores , and relatively recent graduate,and givin step 3 in august, one more q does it work straitght forward or does it need recommendations ,please be honest

to white: i have not taken step 3 yet..i wanted to do it but i have cs in september so i will take step 3 in december or january..i am on h4b visa now,so i will need a visa ,preferably h1..and i did not get any offer yet,it is just i know some people who promised something like that..anyways the situation like this..good luck for your match..and wish me luck too..

thanks yildiz, same here i am in a similar situatuion where some one prommised me,so thats why i was anxious whether does it really work or not, i am also lookin for h1, i finished cs and givin st 3 in aug,thanks for ur reply ,appreciate it, good luck for ur match too
