hi ppl
i just wana know how many hospitals u shud apply to,inorder to get good number of interviews...coz it costs rite?????...so it means even if we r only applying, a good sum of money shud be in pockets....isnt it?......and then another sum of money for going all over united states for interviews....oh man....is every body so rich here and im only one poor to think about all this....or everybody thinks

Hi Dr79, I know exactly what you are feeling,its hard to come up with so much money.But from what I gather from my friends is that its worth applying to as many programs as you can,it just improves your chances of getting a good many of interviews and therefore better choice for where you wanna go.Plus I guess we have to spend once like this and it is still worth it.

I did 50, which in retropsect was way overkill. But it depends on how competitive you are, and what area of the country you are looking ... and how much you know about the programs to begin with.

wt do u mean by HOW MUCH U KNOW ABT PROGRAMMS....wt r we supposed to know abt programms....and where to get information about them?
one more question..how much it takes to apply for one programe.....i heard its $50 each...is it so?

well its around $290 for 30 programs. then $25 for each additional

oh really....290 for 30 programms....cool....i tot i willl hv to spend like 1500 for 25 programms......thanx for this info....God bless u all
