hey used2bdoc, I know you can get kaplan notes at ebay.com they have brand new books from students who attended or bought kaplan courses, i think it's worth it to spend some bucks on that material.

Hi guys, I have another question. I went to eBay already and found that there are 2 kinds of Kaplan step1
- Lecture note which come in 3 volume and Qbook
- Review series which come in 7 books and Qbook
What is the difference of these and which one is better in your opinion?? Help! I have to bid very soon.

I don't know what the 3 vol one is. What I got was the 7 vol one which has lectures notes on each of the 7 subjects as well as one qbook. I think that one is great and I am using that as my base. Maybe someone else can tell u what the other one is.

Thanks drworm, the 3 volume consist of 2-3 subject for each volume. I'm thinking to bid for the 7 books too. How much did you pay for them? Thanks!!

I think mine is 2002 too. I am pretty sure they have newer editions but I believe what I have is pretty good. Go get them...

Hi guys, I couldn't win bidding for Kaplan note from eBay. I will try again for the next set!!
Yesterday, I didn't study much.... I hope today I will accomplish my daily goal for the second reading of Anatomy. I have to do so..because in the weekend I know that there will be a cessation again!!

hey used2bdoc, good luck on ebay, the price should be around 200 to 400 bucks and they always have new sellers so go for the best offer I am also doing anatomy but just starting I calculate this will take me 2-3 weeks at least, first reading is always tough and i am getting nuts already good luck.

hi also an img but from here orginally 4 year graduate with a one year old daughter since i have a family of docs i will give u advice u are spending to much time on anatomy FA is enough fro anatomy and for neuro do kaplan i an using 2002 version also have the sopposedly new version they only have immuno section which is really revised everything else is same old and for the rest stick to kaplan the best and if u can go to center prep so correlate your studies makes the notes easier qbank u can do subject wise but advisable to do questions after first revision like i said stick to kaplan we do have the knowledge for god sakes we passed medical school but its just lost somewhere in our brain and please do goljan notes he has a review book stars pathology if u cannt get hold of his 2004 lecture notes which is better there was a link in this forum where a member is emailing his high yield 100 pages which is a must well personally do not like FA espacially for phsio patho or behavorial science only good is the micro espacially the virus part so i am sticking to my kaplan books to the end and goljan notes and high yield well gotta go and study

:: The Third Week ::
Thanks Sanfer, Shalu and female doc in NY for joining. Thanks for all
your advice. May be I spent too much time for Anatomy, but I finished
it now. Last week, I got Goljan from eBay that the pdf file isn't sharp
enough. I ordered Kaplan from eBay too and hope it will come in the
next three days. Anyway, I will do a QBook for Anatomy part today and
move on to other subjects tomorrow.

Yeah!! I got Kaplan Lecture notes today. They are in a good condition.... I'm excited to start with them now. Although, I do not concentrate much these days.... Please someone push me up!!

:: The Fourth Week ::
Hi Shalu and drworm, Last week was very slow for me. I was stressed
from something. I didn't progress much for my studying. I didn't finish
the embryology yet..... I couldn't reach my goal in time. Shalu, you
did very well...at least you reached your goal or nearly. drworm, my
weekend was a time for my recovery too. Now I'm back to normal status
and ready to fight again. I'm trying to finish it very soon, hopefully
today. Hey.... Where did you guys study Embryology from, Kaplan or High
Yield?

Hi evry1...hoping u all meet ur target and goals today.
Shalu I'm trying to do my revisions right now. I am trying to memorize FA in the morning and do some Goljan and questions from qbank in the afternoon. I will do a systems revision next week. I am hoping to complete these revisions before the end of the month and take a NBME exam to see where I stand. Depending on my score I will decide when to take the exam. When r u planning to take ur step 1?

Hi guys, Thanks for your support! Well, Today I can study more altough still deal with Embryology. I'm happier with my study but I know that I should postpone my test schedule from October to later. How to reschedule? I wonder can I reschedule to 2006? If yes, I want to do so. drworm, you did a lot of work! I think you are ready to take the exam pretty soon
