i need to know the eleven states that allow step 3 before the onset of residency,

These are the states you can apply to without any residency experience, as an FMG Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Nevada, New York (but don't do that), South Dakota, Utah (?), Texas, Virginia, West Virginia. You can apply through the state medical boards of one of these states and then take the actual exam where you are. Good luck!

i have a question does that mean if u have step3 score u cannot apply to some places like nj,plz reply.thanks

Hi Sabina; I'm not sure if I understand your question right, but I'll try to answer it. If I missed the point, please post again. If you have your Step 3 score it is good in any state. Each state has their own requirements about when you can apply for licensure there. Your Step 3 will be good for all the states - now you just need to satisfy their post-graduate years requirements.
