2) Which is the most common cause in older adults, specially smokers ?
3) Which is the imaging test of choice to see bronchiectasis and what do you see?

are you sure of item 1 ns11266?
CF is not that common disease to be the most common cause of cystic fibrosis!!! but as I have said previously I am not sure cause I haven't started IM study yet

are you sure of item 1 ns 11266 ? becuase CF is not that so common disease to be the MCC of CF in chidren
in item 2 you specify TB but where you read that.?..(.I mean people who have tuberculosis will have pronchiectasis!!!!!?)

hi samer,as far i know CF has become more common in young people as a cause of bronchiectasis(refer any standard text book like clark&kumar int med)
TB causes bronchiectasis by post TB stenosis(mechanical bronchial obstruction) or due to granulomatous destruction of bronchioles(also refer any intmed book)

you´re right about
1) Cystic fibrosis
3) CT scan and signet ring like bronchioles, like cystic spaces and more in the bases
But in number 2), I read in Kaplan it was COPD.
So now, I´m confused  about number 2. What do you think?
