hi
i am from india.
i am in my 3rd year of mbbs..
i'll be getting over with my internship in dec 2007...
now does that mean that the earliest i can get a residency would be 2009..??
i mean is it possible for me to appear for 2008 match.. and save an year..
i dont know anybody from my coll doing it that fast..
do u know of any IMG getting into a residency prog the yr right after their internship..
i was thinking that if i complete step 1 n step2ck by dec2007.. ie during my internship (i know it'll be a real tough job)
and go for step2 cs in jan/feb 2008.. i can still report my cs scores by match 2008.. or can i ??
or do i have to have step 2cs passed by match... can i do it after the match...??
well.... the more important and a more relevant q right now wud be..
what all should i read now to get good scores
( who doesnt want a score of 99 eh? )
i get a lot of time to study these days as this is a relatively easy prof. ( ophtha, ent n psm )
i wuz thinking of going thru the kaplan's notes once.. but am not sure ..?
somebody suggested me to do pre test now....
well, it doesnt harm to start early...
