Dear All, just received my results (actually got my USMLE certificate by FedEx 10 days prior to my Step 2 CS results). Since I frequently checked the postings here at the forum I thought I quickly share my experiences: DON'T PANIC and RELAX. I'm an IMG (pediatric residency in Germany & fellowship in Australia) and only used the excellent "First Aid" book about 3-4 weeks prior to the exam (about 2 hours every evening and 6-8 hours Sat & Sun). My wife pretended to be the SP using the cases in the First Aid, I timed the 15-minutes encounter & the 10 minutes for filling out he form. My wife then told me, what I had missed using the check-list in the book. The exam is not too bad. SP are extremly nice and helpful. Once you accept you can't do a full physical exam and take a complete hx in 15 minutes things are easy - just focus on the most important systems. I usually left the room after 13-14 minutes. Cases were ususally extremely straight forward and easier than in FIRST AID. I usually never had enough time to fill in the form in the given 10 minutes, but you just have to make the best out of it (practise it at home in 10 minutes!!!). Good luck to everyone! Cheers, S.

Thanks. Both my ECFMG-Certificate and my USMLE Step 2 CS results were mailed to me exactly 6 weeks after my exam in Houston. (ECFMG reached Germany after the weekend with FedEx, Step 2 CS by snail mail took another week to reach my mailbox here in Europe. Cheers & good luck, S.
