Kaplan Qbank says it's most accurate around 7 weeks' gestation, and Crush says 16-20. What's the deal? Anyone know the real answer?

as far as my understanding is all scans done before 8 weeks are transvaginal. With a transvaginal u can visualize and measure the embryo as early as 5 and a half weeks into pregnancy. In practice we do transabdominal USG for dating of preg. between 18-20 weeks of gestation.
