hi bbb... i just finished taking my step 1, 2. cs is coming up in august. My problem is that i can't really decide on which residency i should take up...but, that is something i should decide on myself, although any thoughts on that will be appreciated also. I need your help with the following...how do i choose which hospitals to apply to. i hear it's best to apply to as many programs as possible. how many is "as many"? Also, as of now, i'm leaning toward internal medicine. i am an img from india who graduated on dec 2000. i have a green card. which hospitals are really good and are img friendly at the same time? any idea? by the way, i got 94 on step 1...still waiting for ck results. which other residencies other than im are going to be easier to get for someone like me? thanks bbb.

I can't tell you to apply to 10, 20 or more - that's a decision that only you and your wallet can decide on.
