It is secreted in the blood from JG cells.......also liver(10%)...

I think it is secreted mainly in kidney - in epithelial cells of peritubular capillaries (I know that there are different opinions, but this is what I accepted), but also a little in the liver - Kupffer cells (especially during fetal period)
