Rinne test helps to distinguish between conductive and sensorineural hearing loss.
How is it different from Schwabach test?

Hi, BU is a very good school, I know someone who goes there...
I didn't bring schwabach test from russia, I saw someone using it here in boston smiling face
and it looks something like this: you also use the vibrating tuning fork and place it to the patient's mastoid process and then to yours. If you can hear the sound after the patient has stopped hearing it, then hearing loss is likely. Of course you are supposed to have normal hearing smiling face
If it's called something else here in USA, please do let me know.
Good luck
