Origin, relations, importance?

Superior Laryngeal artery is a branch of superior thyroid artery.

It enters the larynx thru the thyrohyoid membrane. In this region, it is accompanied

by the internal branch of the superior laryngeal nerve, w/c gives sensory innervation to the laryngeal mucosa above vocal folds.
