MB tb may lead to cavitation but it almost never leads to air-fluid levels on radiograph

Also, aerobs (MB tb) tend to go to upper lobes (better ventilation), anaerobes (A.israelii) - to lower lobes. and also alcoholics tend to aspirate from mouth, where A.israelii resides.

strep. pneumo rarely causes lung abscess
