What kind of cancer would this person get on the true vocal cords if he is a smoker? I know the false vocal cords are lined with squamous epithelium, and the true vocal cords are lined by ciliated pseudostratified columnar epithelium, would it be Squamous cell carcinoma, or does the true vocal cords have an exeption to the rule?confused

Any help would be appreciated.

On true vocal cords it's squamous in 95%, in remaining cases - adenocarcinoma from mucous glands.
