Kaplan Qbank USMLE

Guys,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I would like to thank you for all your support... It has been quite a long and emotional month for me... This waiting time is a torture...

But, Yesterday I did the OASIS trick and found out that I have passed the step 2 CK, then when I got home I had my score in the mailbox, 206/ 84... It is not an outstanding score, but I don't care, I would be happy even with 75...

I read the kaplan notes once with some complement material of Blueprints, plus crush the boards (I read three times- mandatory)... Watched the highlights videos from Kaplan (mandatory in my opinion), watched all the pediatrics videos of kaplan, and cardiology... Did not have time and patient to see the rest of the videos...

I also prepared with the MOCK exam book, did 9 blocks in the initial phase of my study plan, scoring around 70%, than I bought the Usmleword q bank for 1 month, final score 54%, ranging from 48 to 68% (1100 question). I was a disaster in cardiology... UW is MANDATORY!!!!!

1 day before the exam, I took the NBME part I and score 440, equivalent to 202.

So, on may 3rd I took the exam, I was devastated with my performance, the time was a big issue for me…. I guess I cried continuously for 6 hours after the exam … You can check below part of my previous post to see my description about the exam and to understand how hopeless I was… LOL…

Once again, thanks, I would not be able to make it without you and the forum… Now, It is time to study for step 2 CS and later step 1 (I will need some extra help for step 1, because I failed before). Does anyone have any advice how should I proceed?

Best wishes,

Helops

Part of my previous post just after the exam:

Hi,
I took my step 2 CK yesterday... what a nightmare... Lots of cardiology questions as expected. Lots of psychiatric questions... Only few statistic questions (I would say not more than 10). Many step 1-like questions, related to pathophisiology of the diseases and genetic disorders...
TIME was a big issue for me, I did not have enough time to think, and I did not have this problem during the UW practice...
I am not a test taker person, but I believed that I would be fine on step 2, but now, I am totally hopeless... I made silly mistakes, crashed on the pressure of the time...
I though I would be able to pass because I was doing ok on UW (55% average, from 50-67%) and took NBME part I and scored 440... I am not looking for a 90+, just want to pass.... and now I honestly think that I failed...
