A guy from Costa Rica, CT scan find tha tthere is cortical lesion with calcifications, some calcification have surrounding edma. The life cycle of parasites involves:

toxoplasma Gondii......MC due to pork!
mostly asymptomatic but immunosuppression can reactivate the encysted bradyzoites!

so it is Taenia solium, I thought it is Toxoplasma, but the characterics of Toxoplasma is ring enhanded lesion on CT image in HIV patiens and it is more related to the cat. the cofusing part of this question is Costa Rica, I really confused by that when saw the question.Costa Rica, south american, any characteric diseases??? I get distracted very easily by some unrelavent info and overthink the simple question and made the wrong choice.
