kaplan medicine says one gland hyperplasia is the most common cause (pg 47)

on the web say that parathyroid adenoma is 96% and hyperplasia 3-4%

its adenoma. kaplan n usmleworld have some errors so dont regard them as the final word

it is adenoma of course , but it is the first time I hear that term(hyperplasia in one of the four gland)
it makes no sense for me
