hi
i am a 3rd year mbbs student from india..
i'll b appearing for my step 2 and csa in 2008...
i dont have a passport as yet..

so my query is that should i get a passport made now
or should i do it later in 2007-08 just before applying for csa..

i heard somewhere that it works in ur favour( ie to get a visa) if your passport is new

Hi. I have never heard of anything such as that. Having your passport ready ... makes a lot of sense.. for short notice trips. Can be used as a form of ID as well! Having something is not going to harm you.
