Hi,
I wanted to go to states, i passed step-1 but now i am stuck in canada.I just need some help. I feel so depressed that its effecting my studies. Its so depressing to hear stories of imgs here. There is a very little chance of getting into residency programe here and i hate that book 'toronto notes' this is a nice forum, i just need some help. Am i doomed?? do i have a future? ..i am really depressed and if anybody out there can help be, i'll be very grateful :cry:

Hello,
Just read your post and just though I make a short contribution. life sometimes throws us curve balls when we least expect it...but that is all a part of what helps to make us better and stronger. i too have had my share of disappointments but I thank God for the greatest gift of all and that is life....and once you have that...then anything is possible. Just set your goals and work towards them.. Dont be deterred by other persons experience. Each one of us will have a different experience. And if you dont make it the first time...just keep trying. Eventually you will get to where you want to be.
So cheer up and be strong. I am an IMG and I am having a tough time in the US but I trust that things will improve. You MUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Thankyou so much for ur kind words, and thanks for taking time out and writing. I like what u said that ' u must believe in urself' and i also agree that its not necessary that someones elses experience be ours as well. So once again thanks for ur kind words
