hello, can anyone guide me by telling colorectal cancer screening schedules .i know about the general screening of above 50 yrs ,but in special conditions like in if colorectal cancer is in the family then when should we start screening and how often should we do ?
in FAP when should we first start screening ?
in case a polyp is noted without a family history of cancer then how often should we screen him ?

I think I came across this when I was studying for CS. I think it was in First Aid, that they were saying that for someone with family hx of colorectal cancer, the screening has to start 10 years prior to when the "relative" developed the disease.
