My score came today 247/99 <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Hello people, i used to visit this forum sometimes.i took my step 2 CK on april 15 and got my results today. my score is 247/99. i am very happy .i never thought that I would be getting a score like this. these r the materials i prepared.
kaplan material for all subjects.
kaplan q bank-82%score
kaplan q book.-85-90%
nbme-

Hey Shezad congrats! Please let me know how long u took to prepare, any classes joined? And any topics which were repeatedly appearing on your exam...how did u manage to sit there for all 9 hours?

congrats for the cool score! ..
i have a few qs:
please tell us if the time for each block is sufficient or did you have to hurry with a quick answer for each question..did you have time available at the end of the block to review marked questions
also, what is the level of difficulty of the questions...were there easy questions which we can answer quickly or does each question require a lot of thinking
finally, did you do the USMLE world q bank...since u haven't mentioned it
i would really appreciate your help as i am quite nervous right now with my exam in 4 days..any last minute study tips?

It took me 6 months of prep. No,did not join classes but studied with a group of friends.No topic was consistently repeated. It is difficult to sit for 9 hours and the Q are long too. Just take breaks in between. If you want i will tell you how exactly i distributed my time but a good scheme is given in kaplan also.

Many of the Q were long so it did not leave me much time at the end in some blocks but in others i could review my answers. Many Q were 1 step but there were 2 step Q also which require more thinking. I did do the qbank. Ones prep is never complete. Just dont panic.

Hi
I took my step 1 today and I just have 2 months for step 2!I am going to start for step 2 on Tuesday after a short break, but I don’t have any idea about Step 2 materials
