hi...
i am an old img...i completed my grduation in 1995 and then did m.d. anesthesia (india).
came here usa with my husband who is software eng and on h1 visa usa...
so iam on h4 visa..sitting at home for 1 year as house wife boring..so started study again
usmle step 2 ck..(my friends advise me to give step 2 first as it clinical bit interesting)
i gave exam on 25th april chek by oasis today indicate scor reported and allowing me to re register for step 2 that means i faied in exam..i heard that step 1 is even more difficult then step 2
i used kaplan notes and nms too...
my score kaplan q bank 68 to 70% i didnot use usmle world or nbme
feeling so depressed and low cannot study any more after so long time
can i wark as medical assistant ..do i have t change my visa for that?can i get a job in medical field without passisng usmle(of course not as a docotr i kow that is not possible without passing usmle)
pleae hepl me and give advise...getting depressed...

dont worry.i am sorry about ur result but there is nothing u can do about it now.it happens sometimes.dont lose hope.u still have time.give ur step 1 and also ur step 2/i think u shoudl reschedule step 2 as its fresh in ur mind.this time take usmleworld.

Krip, what review material did you use? How long did you study? What kind of questions were dominant in your exam? Where they diagnosis questions? Next step?

i do not want to give any false hope.but are you sure about ur oasis trick .ur kaplan score is good and i dont see it correlating with u failing and i hope i am right once you get ur result

i think u should not loose your hope and should reschedule as soon as possible,and this time u must do usmle world .just do kaplan notes and usmle world i hope this time u would get success.
