Hello, this is the first time i am posting in this forum. i live in Canada , Ontario. Of,course an IMG. after trying my luck three times in a row or rather wasting my time i have prepared to take usmles instead . can any one please guide me how to prepare for step 2 ck. i have taken any steps . how much time will be enough for the review.I am a old IMG (1996) is it good idea to try my luck in usmles or there is no use as i am a lod graduate. please respond i'll really appreciate it.

You being an old graduate should not prevent you from taking USMLE. There are a lot of people who are old grads who did well and got into residencies successfully. I used Step2 Kaplan notes + First Aid + UW for my preparation. I took 4 months to prepare, last 3 months I was able to spend 8-10 hours a day.

Thank you very much for your reply. i was just wondering which subject should i start first and . How many hours aday i should be studying? I have kaplan 2002 notes, q book , blue prints and a a 2001 cdmt. how should i proceed. how can i lay out a plan. anxiously waiting for the reply. Thanks
