Hello everybody,
i'm new to this forum i'm img from egypt,
i have question regarding my usmle application.
i want to know how long does it take to recieve my scheduling permit
i sent the application since 5 days and it was recieved 2 days ago.
as i worry about it and i want to make sure my application is accepted.

You had to get the email from ecfmg with this content:
We are pleased to confirm that your application has been received at
ECFMG. When processing your application, ECFMG will check that you are
eligible to take the exam(s) you selected on your application and that your
application is complete. Once your application has been reviewed, ECFMG
will send you written notice of the outcome of your application. ECFMG
typically processes applications within four weeks of receipt. Once
this processing is complete, you may track the status of your application
by using ECFMG©s On-line Applicant Status and Information System
(OASIS). Access OASIS on the ECFMG website at oasis.ecfmg.org.
I got my permit in 5 week after receipt.

best of uck for the exam and u would get many more suggestins if u post in the correct forum i.e. in the support forum rather then the exam experience forum

Hi marmar,
I got this email in 2 weeks, and it took them 3 more weeks to process my application plus 1 more week to send permit. When you get your ECFMG number you can check your application status online through oasis.

the scheduling permit takes about more than 4 weeks to reach i m also from egypt when is ur test marmar ?
