Hi everybody.I need to ask you something.I am taking the test in few days and I have basically been preparing my "performance" (hope it is gonna be a decent one!!!) thru Kaplan classes and USMLE World Q-bank.At the end of the "first lap" in that Q-Bank I scored 69%.Now I am reviewing all the subjects on Kaplan books and rechecking all the UW questions. And of course I am freaking out in the meantime (little detail). Actually I didn't have a real assessment and frankly I don't have time anymore for that.I though that the UW questions were good for a general assessment (I realize that the only real assessment will be the exam itself, unfortunately).I took assessment tests for each subject from Kaplan and I did very good on them, even if I have to admit that they are kind of simple compared to the UW stuff. I read in one of the post in this forum that it would be useful to practice on the NBME test...the fact is that I don't have an idea of what it is.I am an international graduate and I didn't realize completely how many material, sources, classes, books, guides, dummies are out there to prepare this USMLE!!!It's a jungle, man! Could anybody tell me about this NBME test?Any opinion whether UW question Q-bank is enough?Any advise for a "flying assessment"?(no jokes about jumping down from somewhere high, please). Thank you guys. P.S.Sorry if the letter is kind of long and kind of silly, but to write like that helps me to control the tension a little bit.And this is a "support" forum, isn't it?
