Hi, i am a foreign student an already got my scores on friday..step 2......99/267, much better than expected, i just want to pass... but i dont know what these score really means... what score is expectet to get a good residency (primary for internal med or emerg med)

wow congrats!!! its really a gr8 score.u get same scores in ur step 1 and pass ur cs then u will have very good chances to get into residency.

Hi guys, here are the books i used...
please study well for obgyn, t got the feeling that most of the questions in Step 2 were releated to obgyn , exspec. hormon- stuff
1. First AID (very helpful)
2. USMLE secrets (Borchert, very !! helpful)
3. Blueprints: psychatrie, pediatrics and obgyn
4. one book for internal medicine from germany (Herold)
USMLE world. did 46 questeions a day and read the explan. were carefully, sometimes wrote out something.
didnt use kaplan, but i read that the lecture notes are good, too. my advice read blueprints psych and obbgyn first, perhaps later notes. also read secrets. good luck and thanks for feedback.
