ok here goes .....i did kaplan notes 4 times to date ....done this clinical vignetes in all subjects and will start tests from tomorrow ....basically q bank ,nbms and usmle world ....test is in late june ....got just 78 is step 1 and need to do well ....is there anything else to read ...i havent done cmdt ..should i .....i think i have time ???

retroviridae thinks that doing kaplan is enough and he's one of the usmle high scorers. since you did it four times already, i'd think you're all set- you've got the concepts solid in your head, you know the items cold. and with the tests, you'll be able to see how much you have retained and learned. once you get the tests going, and the scores are good enough for you, i'd think you're ready for a great score and it's always important to keep in mind that knowing one set of reference cold is better than a little of this and that. good luck!

you have a lot of time. If you have read Kaplan notes properly, 4 times should be enough. Take the NBME and see how you are doing. If you are happy with that score, I would say you can prepone your exam.
