I have not taken the test but i know from the people who have taken the test that Metabolism & Genetics are aksed. My friend took step 1 a few months ago and she told me that there were so many questions from Genetics. So prepare well for Biochem. When is your exam? Good luck.

I took the test last year, and i remember it had an INSANE amount of biochemistry (metabolics), genetics and inmunology. Very little behavioral on my test. and there were also a lot of charts and graphs from physio. Since those were also my weakest, i'm emphasysingmore on those this second time. Hope this helps! G.

as far as I'm aware, pathology makes out most of the test. Two friends just took the exam 2 weeks ago and both said that at least 50-55% of the test of pathology! But also, a lot of biochemistry related to those metabolic disorders and some genetics as well - but the genetics were not tough tough. I'm also weka in Genetics, so I'm pushing harder in pedigrees and metabolic processes.
