i'm an img graduated in november 2003 from india . i've taken the JUL-SEP slot.my materials are
kaplan notes
goljan audio& notes
robbins
BRS for behavioral
my progress-finished 7 hrs of goljan.did bacteriology part of micro.did kaplan behavioral 3/4ths.can anyone plzzzz suggest how many hrs of goljan do i need to listen per day, inorder to listen , study his notes and also rfer physio and pharmac., open to suggestins.
i was doing pretty well in feb and march but came to an absolute standstill in april.hope i get motivated by seeing the diaries of u guys and start seriously again .

Hi nivy,make a timetable and stick to it.Thats the key.
have you set a date,setting a fixed date also will keep you on track.Never aim for the last month in the slot,if so then you don't have any chance of postponing exam at the end if required.So come on strat studying hard ,aim for some date in july(may be last week)
I did pharmac & physiology from kaplan.I think it will be ok /sufficient.I have my exam at the end of this month.I willl let you know according to my experience.
You have kaplan books,so start studying them for now.

hi nivy, don't worry...if u will be consistent with yr diary, u'll be motivated. well...there r lots of ups and downs along the studying....but not as bad as when u r all alone....we r here to encourage each other....

planning to do goljan notes tomorrow from cell injury to atleast immunopathology.started with cell injury today evening, referring robbins for better understanding.there will always be so many distractions in our lives, but i suppose u've got tofocus only on this exam ignoring the rest if u really want to ace thru it .so i've decided to leave the rest to god & do my best
the only way is to ALWAYS HAV MLE AT THE BACK OF UR MIND. THANKS GUYS FOR UR ENCOURAGEMENTS

hi again. guys, i know i've taken a looooooooong break from my diary. i was out of station for 2 weeks and was caught up in personal obligations for another 2 weeks. all i was able to do is 4 chapters from goljan . i was feeling really low and miserable, but got out of it . i'm planning to continue with goljan review notes which i know is quite vast
my plan right now is 1 chap a day simultaneously referring physio & pharmac
hope i do fluid &hemodynamics tomorrow.
i also need all of u guys motivation
my slot is for august to oct

i MUST complete genetics, which is very vast in goljan, giving myself 2 days time coz i refer phys & pharm a lot

hi everybody.finished fluid&hemo... simultaneously revising physio& pharmac.want to do genetics, in 2 days coz its veryyyyy vast in goljan review. today again there are many distractions but got to keep a cool head & study. will b going out now. should study after i return.

hi i know its been a looong time since i wrote my journal. planning to giv exam on dec 27. problem is there r few obligations due to which i hav to take a week off. tensed about wasting time . things done thus far , micro

path - coz listening to goljan and studying his review notes
anat & physio - covering with systemic path - reproductive, git ,renal.
pharmac-cns(1/2), cvs, chemotherapy, renal.
things to do today:
listen to goljan endocrine, read it from his notes,do endo physiology.,
1 hr micro, 1hr pharmac
unable to put in enough no. of hrs for study.
shud istart solving Qs from now or after first reading is over????
suggestions most welcome
