Hellow... My name is Juliano I´m a brazilian medical doctor doing Cardiology here in Brazil, I have alrealdy done internal medicine for two years and now I´m finishing my second year of clinical Cardiology. I would like to know about if it´s possible to do only interventional cardiology fellowship or residence in US? Please if it´s possible How? Thanks a lot!!

yes, but must pass USMLE I/II and get ECFMG certified. Then you need to get accepted for Fellowship (try Cleveland Clinic, they like IMGs). Usually you have to do residency first in the US, but not always.

Thank you... Ok...if I have the ECFMG certified and go to US to do intervencional cardiology fellowship, Can I work as Cardiology (even knowing that my complete study ocurried in Brazil)...for example doing the procedures not only observe? One more question: Is there some monetary auxilary for the doctors (fellowship)?? Sincerely, Juliano
